A common result of learning about sharks is the desire to do something: to stop over-fishing, shark finning, and shark consumption, and to educate others about why sharks are valuable.

This section is platform for action to save the sharks. With your input, it will evolve over time As a start, we have developed programs and materials that you can download and use in your local area. You may even want to start or participate in a local chapter of Shark Savers. If your time is more limited, we hope that you will sign our petitions and donate money so that we can continue these efforts.

We post petitions that relate to shark conservation that are an easy way for you to lend your voice to the issue. Petitions are not always enough to affect change, but they can be very effective to let the target of the petition know that thousands of people are paying attention to how they respond.
