| Minister's response to Great Barrier Reef petition |

September 2, 2008 We received this letter today from the Queensland Minister of the DPI&F in response to the petition opposing shark fishing in the Great Barrier Reef. While there does not appear to be any movement in their position, we sense that they are listening and that the proposals are still under review. We will be responding to this letter shortly and hope to establish a dialogue to continue to re-shape the fishery. (This 2-page letter has been composed into one image, but the text has not been edited).
