I was working in tourism industries bebore i joined in this field for 4 year. And i found its intresting but time comes for me to change. Since than i heard and we all talk the discrimination of the staffs in the resorts forigners and locals! I believe any one of you could help in this issue also will be a good help to the entire country as well as to entire human rights of this country and to the world. As you may well aware we are in a globle village there ia no restriction in Maldives for touristis to be here as tourists and even to work I agree that we need your assistance in a very high way.

Just my thoughts. - Abdulsattar

Dear Sascha Simon.

I get your name and URL from Matt and Karen from the Sea-Explorer divingbase and there I saw also your Sharksavers video. I liked your film very well but however the film was almost too little brutal for me. Shark finning belongs absolutely prohibited and therefore I would have shown the spectaors not only one finned shark thrown back into the sea finned ... the people must be horrified over the brutal, greedy Shark finning!

2000 and 2002 I still saw many small Blacktip Reefsharks around Reethi Beach and and Grey Reefsharks and sleeping Nursesharks by snorkelling trips, but since 2004 I saw none more there. From 15th until 29th June 2008 I was also on Reethi Beach and I was very happy that I saw 2 sharks finally again while I was diving at the Donfan Thila. It was one Grey Reefshark with approximately 1,5 meters of length and a little bit smaller White-tip Reefshark.

Best regards from Vienna,
Gerhard Geyer
